Theme “SILVER SCREEN,”
School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore, organized an Inter-Collegiate Fest “EXPRESSIONS” on Saturday, September 06, 2014.
The theme of the Fest was "SILVER SCREEN" - 'RAISE THE CURTAIN TO YESTERYEARS.' Dr Vasanthkumar Perla, Assistant Director, Akashvani, Mangalore, inaugurated the fest at 9:15 AM. Dr Sophia N. Fernandes, Principal, School of Social Work, presided over the function. Dr Prakash N. Tharian, Retd Professor of BSW, School of Social Work, was the Chief Guest of the Valedictory Program at 5:45 PM. Ms Cecilia F. Goveas was the Staff-Coordinator and Ms Aishwarya J S and Ms Naura Fatima were the student convenors for the same.
Nine events (Icebreaker, Mock press, Treasure hunt, Caricature, Chaat making, 40 seconds to fame, Standup comedy, Group singing, Group dance), all related to the theme “SILVER SCREEN,” were held.
15Under graduate colleges participated in the fest.
The overall championship trophy was bagged by Padua College, Mangalore and St. Aloysius College, Mangalore was the runners up.
