NSS Unit, YRC Unit and BSW SAHAYOG Forum of School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore volunteered for 'Swachh Amrit Mahotsav' as a part of Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0, to galvanize action around for garbage-free cities at Panambur Beach on 17th September 2022.

A mega cleanliness drive along the coast line of the city is being initiated from Mangaluru City Corporation and entire city of Mangaluru took part in this under the team’s name “MANGALURU SWACHHATA SOLDIERS”.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The main objectives of the campaign was to raise public awareness of the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle and to inspire participation from the general public in initiatives to make Mangaluru more habitable.

84 volunteers along with Asst. Prof. Obanatha NSS Programme Officer, Asst. Prof. Veena B K Assistant NSS Programme Officer, Asst. Prof. Anusuya Kamath YRC Programme Officer and Asst. Prof. Shobha J D'Souza, BSW Department participated in this campaign.
