In accordance with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Department of Criminology, School of Social Work at Roshni Nilaya and the Faculty of Biological Science at the Nitte University Centre for Science Education and Research in NITTE (Deemed to be University) Deralakatte on August 12, 2023, 53 students from NITTE (Deemed to be University) Deralakatte who are majoring in biomedical science visited School of Social work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore. The seminar on Forensic Science Foundations and Social Applications was led by Ms. Sarik Ankitha, Head of the Department of Criminology, in which she discussed the various branches of Forensic Science and its role in the detection of crime.
