Become a masterpiece through introspection

On 24th of September 2019, M.Sc Counseling, collaborated with the NSS Unit of Roshni Nilaya. The UG staff coordinator MS. Cecelia Goves and PG staff coordinator Ms.Rosa Nimmy Mathew planned on various topics for the group session, the  NSS students were divided into 6 groups and each group had 2 facilitators who were facilitating the under graduate students.

The topics included were Leadership, Handling Crisis and self esteem.  Students of second year MSC counseling were the group facilitator who engaged the group members in various exercises to meet their respective objectives.

Objectives for self- esteem were to make the group aware of their level of self esteem as well to explain the importance of self esteem. And also to teach the members techniques to enhance their self esteem.

Objectives for leadership were to make the members aware the level of leadership skills, teaching the members importance of having leadership skills and ways to strengthen their leadership skills.

Objectives for handling crises was to make the member aware on different crisis and  teach the members techniques to deal with crisis.

The group sessions were held in the PG department of school of Social Work Roshni Nilaya from 1.30 pm to 3.15pm, The group members were given chance to share their views on the topics that were covered. There were about 83NSS Volunteers who benefitted from the session.
