Sociology-Economics Forum, in collaboration with Inchara Foundation, organised an enlightening self-awareness program for thirty-four newly enrolled first-year BA students. The event took place on the 4th of August 2023.

The session, skilfully curated by Ms. Athena Aranha from the Inchara Foundation, spanned from 1:30 pm to 3:15 pm. The journey into self-awareness commenced with an engaging icebreaker activity, which not only broke down initial barriers but also set the tone for the subsequent explorations. Ms. Aranha seamlessly introduced the intricate concept of self-awareness, delving into the realms of private and public self-awareness and illuminating their significance in one's personal and social life.

Diving deeper into the heart of the matter, the students were thoughtfully grouped into three clusters. Through these interactive groups, a series of purposeful activities were undertaken, each designed to encourage the participants to explore the facets of their own cognition, emotions, behaviors, strengths, weaknesses, and motivations. This hands-on approach to learning fostered a more profound understanding of themselves, paving the way for personal growth and insight. Thirty students from first year BA participated in this session.
