- A visit to the Scavengers and Fishermen’s Community was organized for the final year students on January 07, 2013. Students gave an awareness program through ‘Skit and mime to the scavengers’ community. The students conducted a Survey, learning the Socio-Eco aspects of fishing.
- An Educational Tour was arranged for the third year students to Goa from January 24 to 28, 2013. Students visited historical places like Dona Paula, Fort Agauda, St. Francis Xavier Church, Mangeshi temple, Portugues village, Spice Village, Saturday Market, Ferry Crossing and Beach sports.
- Socio-Eco Fest, an Inter-Collegiate competition was organized on February 05, 2013. 8 Colleges under Mangalore University participated in the fest. The competitions held were- Poster making, Photo Journalism, Elocution, Brand Equity. Vivekananda College, Puttur were the winners and Alvas College, Moodabidri were the runners up.
- The News letter of the forum “Change Makers” Issue: 02 was released on February 25, 2013.
- Ten Final year students helped the organizers Omega Hospitals Pvt. Ltd in organizing Free Heart/ Health check up on June 26, 2013 under the programme of the forum “Earn While You Learn”.
- A special Lecture on Population – A Boon or Bane was organized for the first and second year students on the Observation of Population day on July11, 2013.
- In collaboration with other Departments organized Inter class dance competition on July 23, 2013.
- A Buzz Session was organized for all the students of the Forum on August 01, 2013.The students congregated together to discuss and envisage activities for the forum. A group dynamic exercise was administered for bonding.
- An Awareness lecture was conducted by Dr. Ashoka. B, Head, Msc in Criminology and Forensic science on New Trends in Crime on August 02, 2013.
- Inter class competition on Face Painting on Patriotism and Poster Making on Harassment was held on August 06, 2013.
- A visit was organized for the second year students to Naloor Guthu at Allipade on 11th August 11, 2013.
- An Exposure visit to study the life of a village “Grameen” was organized for the second year students to Kuriyala grama on September 27,2013.
- In collaboration with Mangalore Heart Scan Foundation organized Free Heart/ Diabetes check up at Omega hospitals Pvt. Ltd for the Management, Staff and Student community on September 29, 2013.
- Eight students participated in a workshop and collage on Man and Ecology organized by the Department of Economics at St. Agnes College on November 30, 2013.
