First BSW students at School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangaluru were involved in preparing toys as a preparation for Children’s Day on 28-10-2022. Students used waste material cloth from the Tailor shops, waste sponge from the Sofa Makers to prepare the toys. The whole process was done under the guidance and sponsorship of Mrs. Sabreena, Therapist from Mangaluru .
The whole process of stuffing the toys, cutting the cloth, sponge and stitching was guided by Assoc. Prof. Vineetha and Asst. Prof. Shoba D’Souza .
Thirty eight first BSW students participated and prepared 86 toys.
Assoc.Prof. Vineetha welcomed and introduced the resource person. Asst. Prof. Shoba thanked the resource person and all participants.
