On 7th November 2022 BSW Department organized one day Workshop on Preparation of Project Proposal for Second & Third year BSW students in the Seminar Hall from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Dr. Gracy Fernandes, Former Faculty and Research Director of the Research Unit of the College of School Work, Mumbai was the resource person.
Workshop began by invoking God’s blessings by Chinnu and group. Spandana welcomed and introduced the resource person. Assoc. Prof. Vineetha K, HOD of BSW Department gave away the Keynote address.
Dr. Gracy Fernandes explained through PPT the whole process of preparing a Project Proposal including Purpose of Project, Scope of Work, Broad Goals, Focus of Work, contacting funders etc. Later students were divided into seven groups and each group prepared a Project Proposal and presented it.
Dr. Gracy , Assoc. Prof. Vineetha and Asst. Prof. Shoba D’Souza evaluated the Project Proposal prepared by the students. Seventy students participated and benefited from this Workshop.
Neha Devadiga proposed the vote of thanks. Technical assistance was done by Gagan. Anushka, Anna, Jefri were in the organising team.
