The BSW Department, School of Social Work, RoshniNilaya, Mangaluru, organized a Webinar on“ PARTICIPATORY RURAL APPRAISAL” on 4th June 2021. The Webinar was held on Google meet from 2.30pm to 4.00pm. The resource person for this Webinar was Fr. Vinod Mascarenhas, Director, Capuchin Krishik Seva Kendra, (R) Belthangady.
The Webinar began with a welcome address by Prof. Vineetha Rai, Head of the BSW Department and Registrar (Evaluation) School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya. She welcomed the Resource person and introduced the resource person to the participants.

Fr. Vinod spoke about PRA- History, Objectives, Key Principles, Tool, Techniques and Advantages of PRA.
The session ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Anima Ming of III BSW. Prof. Vineetha Rai concluded the Webinar by thanking the resource person Fr. Vinod Mascarenhas, the organizing team and also the faculty of BSW Department.
The student representatives of the organizing committee were Anima Ming III BSW, Bangera Pooja Jarappa III BSW, Vishnu. S II BSW, Sidhra Ali Khan II BSW, Sinchana Shetty I BSW, under the guidance of Prof. Vineetha Rai, Head of BSW Department.
