Department of BSW Organized two days workshop on Participatory Rural Appraisal for the students. The resource person for the workshop was Mr. B. Ramachandra Bhat, Retired Social work Trainer at MYRADA. The workshop was organised at Seminar Hall, School of Social Work, and Roshni Nilaya on 22nd and 23rd June 2018 and Thirty three final year BSW students particiapted in the workshop. The students in the workshop learnt the theoretical concepts of PRA and got training in different methods of PRA that helped them to implement in their respective field work communities. Students demonstrated various methods of PRA like Transact Walk, Resource Mapping, Venn Diagram, Social Mapping in the college campus. Group activities were also conducted to the students. There were also interactive sessions between students and faculty.
