CATHARSIS 2015
BA students of the Psychology department participated in CATHARSIS 2015, an Intercollegiate Fest (Mangalore University Level Psychology Meet)organized by the Department of Psychology, Alva’s College, Moodbidri, on 9thof March 2015 in Alva’s Engineering College, Mijar, Moodbidri. Mohammed Swaroopof Second YearBAwon the first place in paper presentation.
Exhibition 2014
An open to all exhibition was organized on 5th July 2014. Displays comprised charts, albums, models and posters on “Psychopathology and Mental Health Interventions” by the final year students of Psychology.
Managing Examination Anxiety
A Counselling programme by Mr Paul Raj (Lecturer, JyothiNivas College, Bangalore) on “Managing Examination Anxiety” was held on 25th July 2014 in collaboration with MSc Counselling department, Psychology department and Economics department for second year students of BA and MSC Counselling.
FLASHLIGHT
A written quiz for the students of Psychology held on 2nd September 2014 to commemorate the year 2015 as the International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies as declared by the United Nations.
