The Women's Cell and Department of Criminology and Forensic Science, in partnership with the Bandhavya Friends Association, coordinate the celebration of International Women's Day at District Prison Mangaluru on 8th March 2024.

"Empowerment Through Beauty: Workshop on Beautification Skills" was organised for woman inmates. Ms.Shubha Ganesh, President and Ms.Shaila, Secretary of Bandhavya Friends association provided fundamental beauty advice to the inmates and offered practical training in eyebrow shaping, hair cutting, and saree draping. Ms.Sarik Ankitha head department of Criminology and Forensic Science was also present during the occasion.
