UG Department of criminology joined hands with Mangalore South Police Station Pandeshwar, Mangalore in Drug awareness program by performing an “Anti-Drug Street play” on 27th September 2023 at St. Ann’s PU College, Mangalore. 16 students participated in street play. The students performed a play which showed the effects and consequences of drug abuse and also the preventive measures for the same. Ms. Sarik Ankitha, HOD, Department of Criminology gave a talk to the students on the awareness about drug abuse, where she highlighted importance of rehabilitation and to inform teachers, parents and police officials if they come across abusers of drug.
