Crimino-Vision Events

Drug awareness session was organised for the students of University College, Hampankatta as a part of the Drug awareness drive By UG Department of Criminology on 3rd of August, 2023. The resource person of the day was Ifra Ayesha, III BA Criminology student. The session included awareness regarding the statistical situation of drug abuse in the country and globally. The resource person also spoke about the reason leading to drug abuse, types and categories of drugs, mental and physiological effects of drug use, available solutions for drug addicts and legal provisions regarding the drug abuse under the NDPS act. The session concluded with an oath taken against drug abuse by the students and staff. 100 students of the college participated in this session.
