Holistic Well Being (Counselling) Forum Events

On 4th January 2024, 2nd Day session for the students of I & II MSc Counselling of Roshni Nilaya, School of Social Work, was held at Jnana Deepa Institute of Philosophy & Theology, Pune. The students comprised of 49 and faculty members, including Dr. Wilsy Francis, Ms. Jyothi k. & Ms. Thani Anwar.

It was a whole day session, morning session from 9 am to 12.30 noon, and afternoon session was from 2 pm to 5.30 pm. The sessions covered topics - RTM & EMT (Trauma protocols), Core Transformation, and Fostering Psychological flexibility, and the resource persons were Dr. Dinesh Braganza sj, and Dr. Konrad Narohna sj

During the morning session, Dr. Dinesh gave us a comprehensive yet very valuable insight on PRSD/RTM process and Core transformation. With Demo he beautifully imparted to us the whole process starting with the basic knowledge of RTM process, and core transformation basic script. All the students actively participated the sessions, and it gave us chance to explored it through practical sessions.

In the afternoon session, Dr. Konrad explained in detail the key concepts of psychological flexibility with suitable examples. He also enlightened us a few principles of Defusion and examples along with observer’s worksheet. It was indeed a very engaging and interactive sessions, and the students too exhibited great enthusiasm posing questions on various aspect of how we can apply effectively the concepts and principles in our life and in our future practices.
