An awareness program on ‘Stop Bullying’ was conducted by Ms. Chelsea Dsouza and Ms. Precella J. B. from 2nd M. Sc. Counselling dept. School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya on 24th November 2023 on the 132 students from 5th to 7th standard of Rosario English Medium Higher Primary School, Mangalore.
The objectives of the session were ‘To help the students understand what is bullying and how to identify a bully or if they were being bullied’ and ‘To equip the students with ways to deal with and prevent bullying in their school’.
The resource persons used colourful presentations, clarifying videos and lots of interactions to ensure that the students clearly understand what is bullying, who is a bully, who is a target, who is a bystander, what to do in the case of bullying to make their school and their friends’ lives a lot safer and happier.
