The Post Graduate Department of Criminology and Forensic Science had organized a session for second year MSc CFS students of both Forensic Psychology and Criminal Justice (FPCJ) & Questioned Documents and Impression Evidences Specialization on the theme ‘Security and Vigilance at Corporate Sectors’ by the field Professional which was held on 2nd November 2021 at 11 am.

 

Mr. Princeson N Lobo Security Executive, Wipro, Bengaluru and an alumnus of the institution (2014-2016 batch) was the Resource Person. He spoke about the concept of Security and Vigilance, role and functions of a security officer, different job description in the Vigilance sections, challenges and difficulties faced during emergency situations, handling of security gadgets and its importance in prevention of crime. Further, discussed about the opportunities for the students in the corporate sectors, job descriptions and nature of work that need to perform. A few case analyses were discussed focusing on how a case need to be handled by the security officers through relevant presentations.
