First Year students of Post Graduate Department of Criminology and Forensic Science accompanied by Mr. Joel Joseph, Asst. Professor visited the ‘Property Parade’ –an exhibition of Seized valuables held by Mangaluru City Police Commissionerate on 25th November 2021 at Town Hall, Mangaluru.






During the exhibition, students had witnessed various valuables displayed by different police station seized under their respective jurisdiction. These properties were seized during the investigation of several crimes such as, Dacoity, Robbery, Theft, House Breaking, and so on. Even, there were several stalls kept to spread the awareness for the general public regarding Road safety measure, functions of Forensic Science Laboratory, City Armed Reserve, Fire and safety measures, Women Police Stations, Finger Print Bureau, responsibilities of Police during disaster. Twenty- Four students had attended the exhibition and interacted with various sections, police personnel and subject experts. The exhibition had provided insight for the students on various crime preventive and crime detective measure adopted by the Law enforcement agencies.
