On Friday 3/8/2018 MSW students from School Of Social Work Roshni Nilaya and faculties went to visit Vandse and Varamballi villeges in Udupi district of Karnataka State. These two Grama Panchayaths are working towards ‘SOLID LIQUID RESOURCE MANAGEMENT’ (SLRM) from last few years. There are elected members in the Grama Panchayath, who works to address the Health and Education project aimes to convert Uduppi district in to a garbage-free district by 2018. They are collecting all the waste and segregate and sold it in the market , it is nothing but ‘ Making Wealth out of Waste’.
