Taluk Panchayat visit
The community development scholars along with faculty members had orientation Visit to Taluk panchayathmannabetta on 20th July 2017 and input session by Mrs. Ramya, panchayath development officer had given brief information about the structure and functions of the Taluk panchayath and also they have encouraged the students and given guide lines for the KPSC exams. This was good interaction and exchange of information. So this session was very helpful to understand the Panchayat's role in Community Development
Seminar on Solid Waste Management
Attended seminar on solid waste management organized by Mangalore City Corporation in collaboration with School of social work RoshniNilaya at Valencia Church on 23rd July 2017.
Program president,Valencia church Fr.JemsD'Sousa, Chief guest, Mohamad Najeer, Miss.EvelynBenis,community development officer, Kavitasanil,mayor, Nagveni,Public health education and standing Committee member, Manjayyashetty,Health minister were present for the session.
