Joy of Giving

“Give your hands to serve and your hearts to love”- Mother Teresa

Forum for Sustainable Development of Post Graduate Department of Social work in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell organised ‘Joy of Giving’ week from 16th to 25th May 2023. The need was observed and identified by the students during their field work practicum in Mother Theresa Home (for the dying destitute) in Mangalore. Students assessed the requirements during their field work and made a list of items to be mobilized. This initiative promoted students in rendering helping hands to the needy. Eight students along with the faculty visited the Mother Theresa Home to donate the collected items and spent time with the inmates on 26th May 2023.
