Faculty Development Programme – Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation
A Faculty Development Programme on ‘Continous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) was organised by the School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya on 26th May 2020 at 10 a.m.
Dr. L. N. Bhat, former Registrar (Evaluation) School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya, presented the concept and mode of CCE. The emphasis was on making learning more joyful, more meaningful and more sustainable. Instead of an end semester evaluation regular, periodic assessment comprising 5 tests and 5 tasks were presented.
Dr. A. M. Narahari, Former Registrar, St. Aloysius College, Mangalore was an independent observer as the faculty responded to the proposal and stated in his talk that beginning a modification within the present system and practising the model during the next academic year and then taking further action was a practical approach.
Dr. Juliet C. J., Principal presided over the programme. Dr. Jenis Mary, Vice Principal, moderated the session. Professor Vineetha K. welcomed the gathering and Professor Shobhana N. proposed the vote of thanks.
