A general induction programme for the newly recruited employees was organised on 13th January 2021 at 1:30 p.m. in the college library premises.

Ms. Eveleen Benis, Secretary of the Institute of Social Service gave a brief introduction about the institution. An understanding of the history of the congregation of the Society of the Daughters of the Heart of Mary (DHM) was outlined by the Vice Principal, Dr. Jenis Mary.

Dr. Juliet C.J. acquainted the teachers with ethics that apply to their profession. She mentioned that a good student-teacher bond comes from mutual trust and respect and one must have the morality that complements education. She expanded on the four principles of Ethics in Education- Honesty, Confidentiality, Conflicts of interests due to changing priorities and Responsibility.

IQAC coordinator Assoc. Prof. Cecilia F. Goveas briefed about the functioning of the IQAC that maintains overall quality standards for academic and administrative activities of the College. The Office Superintendent Mrs Vijaya Pinto informed about the office rules and regulations with focus on the types of leaves that could be availed. Ms. Namitha, Office Asst. & Accountant explained about the accounting system of the institution.

The librarian Mrs. Ancilla D'Cunha spoke about the usage of library and the facilities available for staff and students in the library. Assoc. Prof. Vineetha K, Registrar (E) addressed the newly appointed members about the autonomous status, rules and regulations concerning examinations.

Each of the eight newly recruited members then introduced themselves. This induction programme was informative and the members were acquainted with the institution. It was a brief programme that prepared them for their new role and an integration as employees into the college.
