Due to the rapid increase of Corona the availability of masks and sanitizers have gone down drastically, so as a responsible citizen and Youth Red Cross volunteer, Ms Geethanjali Thamban of II BA felt the need to do something about it.

She made a few masks for her family and neighbours and distributed sanitizers in Kunitan South,Karivellur, Kannur district, Kerala state.

Since the masks were made of cloth pieces it could be washed and reused. This helped her ensure to a large extent that when they inevitably have to go out to buy the necessary things they are protected.

Beneficiaries of this were about a total of fourteen people.
