The BA departments, NSS and Red Cross units organized Women’s Day for students and staff.
The programme started with prayer service conducted by the male students and staff.
Mr. Rohit, Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India addressed on the various central-government schemes for women.
Dr. Poornima Jaydev, Senior Specialist, Community Health Centre, Mulki addressed on issues of women’s health.
The programme concluded with the screening of the movie “Padman”.
