On March 21, 2023, School of Social Work at Roshni Nilaya observed Social Work Day. Ms. Zainab Shereen, a third-year BSW student, spoke about the specialty of the day. She stated that it was an opportunity for social workers and others in the service sector to celebrate their achievements, as well as to raise awareness and support for the important role that social workers play in the lives of children, families, and communities facing adversity.

She concluded by saying that this year's theme is "Respecting Diversity through Joint Social Action."
