Workshop on Paper Craft

“Craft is the Vehicle for expressing our vision; Craft is the visible edge of art. Art and passion can’t be taught but Craft can be taught”. Keeping this in mind Department of Secretarial Practice conducted an Art and Craft Workshop on October 29th, 2022 for final year BA students. 12 students along with 2 faculties participated in this workshop.

Ms.Shobha Jacintha D’Souza, Asst.Professor, BSW Department School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya , Mangalore was a resource person .She taught to make paper bags and caps. Students were eager to learn the craft using newspaper. She also expressed her knowledge how crafting can help us to manage stress, booster mood, improve self-confidence, mental ability, and motor movements etc. Students were encouraged to convert their crafting hobby into business.

 

 

Ms. Shobha exhibited her art and craft work like bottle painting, keychain, bags etc.
