During an emergency a trained First Aider can only save the life of the victim, prevent complications, promote recovery and save life. On 7th August 2023 Mrs Gloria, Nurse and Trainer from Mangaluru provided the First Aid Training from 9.45 am to 3.30 pm.in the College Auditorium to the first year students as part of the orientation program. She showed to the students through demonstration First Aid during emergency like Bleeding, Bites, Burns, Electric Shock, Fainting, Poisoning, Suffocation, Fractures and Objects in the ear, nose and eye, CPR. Neha and Alvita volunteered in coordinating the Programme. Thirty-five students actively participated in the programme. Later from 3.30 pm to 4.45 pm Mrs Lydia, Administrator, Link De addiction Centre addressed on her experience working with the addicts. This session has sent a strong signal to students as to strongly refuse any kind of substance in their life time. Programme ended with feedback and vote of thanks by the participants.
