A session on the topic ‘Poverty analysis in Global context’ was organized on 3rd November 2022 at 2.30pm in the College auditorium. Dr.Gracy Fernandes DHM an expert in research work and who has lived experience in different developing countries and who worked with the different international NGOs conducted the session. She shared with the students the situation of poverty in Global context specially in reference to Haity at Dominican Republic. The students had the opportunity to get first hand information with regard to the various factors responsible for the situation of poverty. The students also interacted with Dr.Gracy Fernandes and clarified their doubts and gathere more information with regard to the systems that perpetuates the situation of poverty. It was a very informative session. Twenty students participated in the session.
