- Eight Psychology students from I BA namely Fiona Miranda, Ashel Mascarenhas, Medha G Belgaumkar, Bharath, Saloni Sunderram, Shibili Suhanah, Liz Ramapuram and Aparna Benoy gave a 20 minute All India Radio programme titled 'Towards a Beautiful Mind' on Thursday, April 6, 2017.
- Students participated in a poster making competition organised by department of Psychiatry, Kasturba Medical College, Attavar, Mangalore in commemoration of World Health Day 2017: Depression: Lets talk' on April 6, 2017. Three posters were prepared by students on various topics.
1. Akshara (II BA) on the topic 'Depression: what you should know'.
2. Saloni and Medha G Belgaumkar (I BA) on the topic 'Do you feel like life is not worth living?'
3. Fiona Miranda (I BA) on the topic 'Fo you know some one who may be considering suicide?'
Fiona Miranda secured the third prize in the poster making competition.
