The Department of Psychology, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya commemorated the 100 years journey of Psychology as an academic discipline in India by organising an Exhibition 'Manas' on Saturday, July 9, 2016 in the College Auditorium from 9:30am to 4:30pm. The Exhibition was inaugurated by Prof Sunita Menezes, Head, Department of French, School of Social Work, Mangaluru. She stressed that mind rules over matter and enthused students to develop a higher Emotional quotient. Nearly fifteen Pre University colleges were invited for the same. The Exhibits were on Schools of Psychology, contributions of women psychologists, myths and truths of mental illness, several mental disorders, psychological therapies and health related issues. Special attractions were screening of a documentary on Mental Health, assessment of Personality, Emotional Intelligence and learning styles as well as handwriting analysis. Spot games were conducted too.
