Inspired by Jordan Petersons “clean your room” that went viral and clearly struck a chord with young people, the Department of Psychology, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangaluru organized a ‘De-clutter challenge’ through a reel making contest in November 2022 for the students of Psychology.
The overriding idea is that our surroundings are an extension of ourselves (Jungian philosophy) and to improve oneself, one needs to take individual responsibility for it. A clean and organized space helps improve focus and productivity where one gains space, time and energy. This challenge was to focus on progress and not perfection.
The winner of the contest is Saifana Shaikh (II BA).
