NSS (National Service Scheme) - Events

On 12th January 2021, National Service Scheme Unit of School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya in association with Lion’s Club International District 317D has organised a programme on “Channelizing the Youth towards Positivity in the New Normal Situation”.

TheVirtual programme https://meet.google.com/wjq-ddhy-msp started with a Prayer Song by Ms. Libi Sosamma Biju, I B.S.W. NSS Volunteer, Ms. Shetty Nidhi Gopal, I BA NSS Volunteer welcomed the gathering. Ms. Shravya I BA NSS Volunteer introduced the eminent speaker - Dr. Rameela Shekhar, Mental Health Professional, Manashanthi, Mangaluru.

The Resource Person encouraged the NSS Volunteers to be positive in every New Normal situation and realise their own potential and move forward.

Lieutenant Vijay Vishnu Mayya, District Co-ordinator Youth Camp and Exchange , put forward his thoughts on this occasion and Dr. Juliet C.J., Principal, gave the Presidential Address.

Professor Eveleen Benis, Secretary, Institute of Social Service, Professor Vineetha K., Registrar (Evaluation), Mr. Obanath, NSS Programme Officer, Ms. Veena B. K, Assistant NSS Programme Officer, Dr. Kiran Prasad, IT Coordinator, Staff and NSS volunteers took part in the event.

The Master of Ceremony was Ms. Manisha, II B.A NSS Volunteer and the programme ended with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Josepheena Devassy Kutty, II BSW NSS Volunteer.
