YUVA it's your day was organized on the occasion of World Youth Day at NITK Suratkal* Leo’s of RMB participated in large numbers for the event. To mark traffic awareness they also took part in the street play and distributed first aid kits to public transport. They also took part in the blood donation drive which was held on 12 January 2023. The students were inspired by the words of eminent personalities such as IAS Dr. Akash Shankar, Dr. Sheena and MLA Dr. Bharath Shetty. To wind it up there was also an amazing performance by the dancers of Nandagokula who left everyone mesmerized. Our college registrar Prof . Vineetha was also honored at the event. It was truly a wonderful experience. The Leos from Roshni Mangalore Balmatta got certified for their active performance for a street play. Leo Vedika Somaiah and Leo Saifana Shaikh also got the opportunity to deliver guest lecture speeches. All the Leos participated actively in the event. The event helped the Leos get inspired by great role models, so as to be enriched with knowledge as they watched great personalities be honored.
The Leos were also provided with refreshments at the end of the program.
