An award of recognition has been conferred by Mangaluru Police commissionerate to School Of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangaluru for their active participation and social responsiveness towards Crime Prevention in the City of Mangaluru.
Asst. Prof. Ms.Sarik Ankitha, HOD, UG Department of Criminology, received the award of recognition on behalf of the college from Shri. Shashikumar IPS, Commissioner of Police, Mangaluru City on 1st October, 2021.
The award recognizes the contributions of the college in organizing street plays, cultural programs and awareness programs during Crime Prevention month and Road Safety Week as well as counseling services offered by the college at various places in Mangaluru city in collaboration with the Police Department.
