The First year MSW students organized a “Thematic Presentation” on ABORTION-A HUMAN RIGHT VIOLATION on November 9th ,2022 from 3.30 to 4.30 pm in Maria Paiva Hall. Ms. Shradha introduced the theme of the presentation. The programme started with the prayer song led by Amar and team. Mr. Vishnu welcomed the gathering.
The students highlighted the fact that when one chooses abortion ,we say no to unborn children whose right to life are denied .As social workers we need to become aware about this issue of abortion as well as we need to sensitise among the youth. As we have no right to violate anyone's right to live.

The session was addressed through a PowerPoint presentation. There was an open debate on abortion about what the participants think on this. The debate was meaningful and focused.Mr. Bhima Rao, Alumni member gave the feedback on the presentation. The program ended with the National Anthem. A total of 150 members including students and PG dept Faculty were present for the programme.
