Azim Premji Foundation in association with School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Managaluru, were at our campus for Associate placements on 23/02/2023, 2pm – 5pm for final year MSW specializing in Medical and Psychiatric Social Work students.
Mr. Gopalkrishna Co- Ordinator, Recruitment Team, Karnataka gave a brief introduction to Azim Premji Foundation before conducting a written test for the candidates. He began by saying that Azim Premji Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that is working towards making a deep, large scale and institutionalized impact on the quality and equity of education in India. Its Associate programme provides an opportunity for fresh post-graduates to develop a deep understanding of what education means, enabling them to support our efforts in improving the quality of education in Government Schools. He further highlighted the requirements of the Job. The written test of three hours duration was conducted for candidates of final year MSW specializing in Medical & Psychiatric Social Work & community Development. Six students were shortlisted from the total of 20 student’s altogether. The second round of panel Interview was conducted on 25 February 2023. Three students were appointed for the job of an associate at Azim Premji Foundation location in North Karnataka. They were given offer letters & were intimated to join in the month of July 2023.
