Holistic Well Being (Counselling) Forum Events

A capacity enhancement session sense of being was organised for the Counselling freshman on August 17th, 2023, by the department of Counselling .The resource person for the session was Ms.Emilyne Paid , Counselling Psychologist, Yenepoya School, Manglore.

Ms. Emilyne Paise initiated the session by introducing herself. Additionally, each participant was required to introduce themselves while sharing a quality they lack and aspire to possess. The session included several activities designed to help us gain a better understanding of ourselves.

Furthermore, Ms. Emilyne Paise enlightened the students about the qualities a counselor should possess, including confidence, communication skills, body language, and more. She shared insights on how to develop these skills effectively.

During the session, Ms. Emilyne Paise also shared her personal journey as a Counseling Psychologist, which greatly inspired the students. The session concluded at 3:00 pm.
