ROSHNI DIAMOND JUBILEE MEDIA CENTER
SCHOOL OF SOCIAL WORK, ROSHNI NILAYA, MANGALURU
Roshni Diamond Jubilee Memorial Media Center with a basic lecture capturing system came into existence on 31-05-2021 and is functional from the academic year 2021-2022 in the face of COVID 19 pandemic. The main objective was to facilitate producing educational programmes and generating e-content materials. The setting up of the Media Centre marks the systematization of the digital journey of the college.
The main functions of the Center are as follows:
- To be single point contact for the media to receive public information from the college.
- To collect reports of all events in the college.
- To document and manage events and programmes from all departments of the College

- 16 GB memory card
- Lenovo Laptop -01
- 1 TB Hard Disk
- Software - Adobe Premiere Pro 2020 and Adobe Photoshop 2020
- Ring fill light -01
The college launched its own YouTube channel with the goal of informing students, alumni and the general public about the institution's activities on 6th September 2019. The channel now has 540 subscribers, 82 videos have been posted and these videos have received 10,155 views as of October 31, 2021. YouTube is managed by the website team led by IT Coordinator Dr. Kiran Prasad B.
