The School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya (Autonomous) organised the ANNUAL SPORTS MEET-2020 on 18th January 2020, at St. Joseph’s Ground,  Jeppu Mangalore.   

The Inaugural Ceremony was done by PRAJVAL LOBO, an International Power Lifter and Olympian. The Chief Guest for the Inauguration was  Ms. SHUBHA K. H. International Athlete, Assistant Professor, Dept. of. Physical Education, G.F.G.C MUDIPU. Dr. Flossy Rayappan, the ex-Physical Education Director, was the Guest of Honour and the occasion was presided over by the Principal, Dr.Juliet C.J. Dr.Jenis Mary P. The Vice Principal and Professor Vineetha K. The Registrar from the School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya. Twelve teams participated in the March Past ceremony followed by various competitions and relays held for the faculty and the students.

The Valedictory ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest Professor SHOBANA N., Dean of B.A School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya. The Guest of Honour was Professor Eveleen Benis, Secretary, Institute of Social service.Professor Joselyn Lobo, Dean of Bsw School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya also graced the occasion with his presence. The Comperes for the Sports day Meet were Miss. Nashma  and Miss Jyothi. The Welcome Speech was delivered by Miss Soujanya, the Sports Secretary.The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mr. Sandeep Ullal, Assistant Professor, Department of  Physical Education, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya.

ROSHNI CHALLENGERS secured the championship. ROSHNI COMMANDOS Secured the First Runners Up position. ROSHNI HUNTERS and ROSHNI PANTHERS Secured the Second Runners  Position. ROSHNI WARRIORS and ROSHNI BULLS Secured the Fourth Position.

Best Athletes in the women’s section were Miss Royala David Fernandes from III BA and Miss Carol from I BA. In the Men’s section Mr.Supreeth from II BSW and Mr.Shane Antony from I BS won t he Best Athletes Award.
