Study in USA via Roshni Nilaya
School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, reached an important milestone when it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Concordia University, New York, USA for a transfer model’ for American undergraduate degrees. According to the MoU, signed on 17 July 2014, students pursuing Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) in Roshni Nilaya can opt to study in USA after two years (four semesters) and complete the remaining semesters (three semesters) in Concordia College. The students are also provided with scholarships for studying in the US.
Founded in 1881, Concordia College is a four-year, co-educational, liberal arts institution located in Bronxville, New York. The college is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The college is registered by the New York State Education Department.
Criteria for Studying in US:
· Students will have completed at least 2 years of full-time academic work at Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore.
· The students will have earned an overall GPA of 7.0 or 70% and higher and have taken the TOEFL exam.
· Courses of study include Social Work, English, Psychology, Sociology and Economics.
