Achievements

 INTER-COLLEGIATE EVENTS AND PRIZES WON

·         Students of Psychology participated in CATHARSIS 2013, an Intercollegiate Fest organized by Department of Psychology, Alva’s College, Moodbidri on 5^th January 2013. The students won the Overall Championship and the following events Mariam Shafeena and Naura Fathima – First place in Advertisement analysis.

·         Students of Psychology participated in PSYCHO SPECTRUM, an Intercollegiate Fest organized by Department of Psychology, St. Agnes College, Mangalore on 24^th January 2013. Mariam Shafeena bagged 1st place in Turn Coat.

·         Bagged the Overall Championship at Sarosh Fest organized by Sarosh Institution on July 26, 2013. The students won 1^st place in street play, Mad ads, Cocktail.

·         S. Chandana and Mohammed Yousuf Swaroop presented a paper at Canara First Grade College, Mangalore at One day University level Seminar on August 07, 2013 and Mohammed Yousuf Swaroop bagged the second place in the Paper Presentation ‘Crimes against Human Rights’.

·         At the Inter-Collegiate Cultural Competitions 2013 organized by the Mangalore University Mangalagangothri from September 4^th to 6^th 2013, Mahesh participated in Elocution and Debate competitions and Mohammed Nawaf in debate.

·         At the Elocution Competition organized by the Department of Political Science, St. Aloysius College on September 13^th 2013 on the topic "The Role of Common Man (Aam Aadmi) in creating a political alternative to India" ,S. Chandana  bagged the consolation prize.

·         At 'BEQUEST' - A Fest  organized by Besant Women's  College, Mangalore on September 18th and 19^th  2013, our College bagged the Runner's Up Trophy and won 1^st place in Kavyachitra – Swathi S Rao, HR Manager- Mariam Shafeena and Abhinaya- Shwetha B. & Rakshitha V

·         At ‘Agno-Fest’ organized by St. Agnes College, Mangalore on December 6 and 7, 2013 and S. Chandana bagged the First Place in Mock Press and Mariam Shafeena bagged the First place in Freud’s couch.

.  ·         The Girl’s team of our College participated in the District Level Dasara Sports Meet Badminton Tournament held on 12^th September 2013 at Mangal Stadium and secured second place.
