Mr. Balajinarayan B., Assistant Professor of the Post Graduate Department of Criminology and Forensic Science attended an International Lecture Series on Forensic Odontology for Post Graduate Students organized by the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Teerthanker Mahaveer Dental College and Research Center in association with Indo Pacific Academy of Forensic Odontology and Association for Forensic Odontology for Human Rights on the 25th – 30thof April 2020.
The term Forensic Odontology refers to the application of dental science to legal investigations, primarily involving the identification of the offender by comparing dental records to a bite mark left on the victim or at the scene, or identification of human remains based on dental records.
The Speakers for the Conference included Dr. Evi Untoro, Dr. Hemlata Pandey, Dr. Ranjeet K.R. Singh, Dr. Emillio Nuzzolese and Prof. Neeraj Taneja.
