Students of Criminology had put up a play on Child abuse in the program organised by Childline-1098, Dakshina Kannada District on 14th November 2021 in Maria paiva hall on the occasion of Children’s Day .The guests in this programme were Shri. Prithviraj Vernekar - Magistrate, Mr. Renni Dsouza- President of Dakshina Kannada Child Welfare Committee, Shri. B.P. Dinesh Kumar- DCP Crime Mangaluru City, Mrs. Manjula- District Child Protection Officer, District Child Protection Unit, Dakshina Kannada and Mr. Manju, Vittla Convener Child Rights Activist . The students enacted the different forms of child abuse. The students highlighted the Abuse and neglect faced by the child in schools and child care institutions and how the children should come forward to resist this abuse by reporting this to concerned authority.The play was well appreciated by all the guests who attended the programme
