The Institution day programme started at 9.30 am with a prayer service led by Fr. Francis Pinto along with the other P.G. Students on the 1st of February 2020.

The Kinder garten children performed a prayer dance. Ms. Veeda Sequeira President, of the Daughters of the Heart of Mary, Province, spoke a few words on this occasion.
 
Her advice was to the young students on the ways in which they can contribute to the society. She also quoted an real life event of Mrs. Suddha Murthy, Chairman, Infosys India Ltd., She further added on encouraging students and how they can glorify their institute through their work and success. She even mentioned that students are the torch bearers of the Institute and should be encouraged and supported in every step by the teachers.

The theme for the Institute day was the College Motto “Love is made fruitful in service”. Students from various departments performed entertainment programmes focusing on the same theme.
The First year MSW students performed  Mime. No pollution be a solution, they depicted the various climate crises and deforestation and man made disasters were were also depicted in the mime.

Jaison of first year MSW was the quiz master and conducted the quiz about the Institution.

Msc Counselling students of first and second year presented a group song. MSc Criminology and Forensic science students performed and drama and a thematic dance on the concept“save the earth”.

Faculty  members from the Post Graduate and under graduate departments added more colour to the programmes with their group dance.
 
The Institution day concluded with the singing  of the National Anthem.
