On 1st September 2019, in collaboration with Shalepadva Youth Club, DharmaJyothi Vamanjoor, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya organised a Drug Awareness Programme at Youth Club Hall, Shalepadva to the parents in the community.

The Resource Persons  were Mr. Ganesh Mulki Nayak, Event Coordinator Mangalore City police and Shiva Kumar Rao, Head constable, Economic and Narcotic Crime Police Station. The talk was given to the parents on how they could help  recognise and help the youth from the growing problem of drugs in the community and how  parents are able to approach the Police if anyone of the members or friends were involved in the problem of drug intake.

The Officials informed them about the laws and how they helped in saving the victims and the methods and procedures involved in contacting the Police and the Government.
