“Education is the movement from darkness to light”
A Two day induction program was arranged for Fresher’s of under graduate programs of School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangaluru on 17th and 18th June 2019.
On 17th June 2019 orientation was organised for students and parents in the college auditorium. Ms Juliet C J, Principal welcomed the gathering and briefed about the institution. Prof. Shobhana N, Dean of BA gave information on conduct, discipline and extracurricular activities of the college.
Prof. Vineetha K, Registrar (Evaluation) addressed the students and parents on academic and examination related matters.
Rev. K M Devan, Program advisor, Concordia University gave an insight about twinning program with Concordia university. Parent resource was group was formed.
A session by “Narcotics Anonymous” Mangaluru was organised on 18th June 2019 for the students.

The resource persons for the session were Mr. Guru Prasad, and Mr. Sharun.The students were sensitised on the adverse impact of drugs on their life.
The second session for the day was taken by Dr. Audrey Susheela Pinto, Professor of M.Sc counselling, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya on Personal and Professional Development.
The students were dismissed for lunch break, after the break the Head of the Departments gave insight about their subjects. After the subject orientation, the students of third year conducted meaningful interactive games in order to create an atmosphere of learning and fun which was later followed by a campus tour.
