The inaugural function of the Annual special camp of school of social work Roshni Nilaya was held on Wednesday November 14 at 4.30 pm at Aloysian Boys home Someshwara . The camp will be held for 7 days . Rev Fr Dionysius vaz , SJ, Rector , St Aloysius Educational Institutions , Mangalore inaugurated the programme . In his inaugural address he said that Youth are real change makers and can bring about a great change in the society.

Chief guest Mrs Vani V Alva ,Municipal commissioner , Ullal city Municipal Council in her addresss said that she was happy that the Nss unit will be working with the Ullal city also . Dr Jenis Mary Vice Principal of the College presided over the function . NSS Officer , Prof . Cecilia F Goveas welcomed the gathering and Asst Nss Officer Mr Sandeep U proposed the vote of thanks . The programme was followed by children’s day celebration for the Aloysian Boys home children.
