On 6th and 7th July 2018, the Zilla Panchayath in association with NSS Mangalore University and NSS unit, School of Social Work conducted a two-day TOT workshop on Menstrual Hygiene (Swacha Gelathi) for NSS volunteers of different colleges of Mangalore.
The Resource Persons included Dr. Durga Prasad , Gynaecologist, Lady Goshan Hospital; Dr. Sangitha, Gynaecologist, Community Medicine Department, Moodibidri; Psychologist Ms. Mamtha Bhandary, KS Hegde Hospital; Mrs. Veena B K Asst Professor, BSW department ,School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya and Mrs. Anusuya Shenoy Asst Professor, BSW department ,School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya.
Associate Professor Ms Vineetha K., NSS programme co-ordinator, Mangalore University was the co-ordinator of the Swacha Gelathi Programme .
