Department of Criminology in collaboration with LIT Meet and Socio-Economic Forum screened “ARTICLE 15” for students of first and second year students of BA/BSW on 13th July 2019 in Cineplex Bharath Cinemas, Bharath Mall, Opp. KSRTC Bus Stand, Bejai, Mangaluru.
The film is based on Article 15 of the Indian Constitution, which prohibits discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth. The film is inspired by multiple true life events including 2014 Badaun gang rape allegations and 2016 Una flogging incident.
